Topical Thursday: Does Speeding Actually Save You Time?!

Hang in there you have one more day till it's Friday! But to speed things up I thought I would throw some trivia your way.  As you already know I had recieved a huge speeding ticket and well I had the option to take a drivers improvement class. The benefit was that the insurance company never found out about the ticket and it was like it never happened. I actually found it very beneficial and there is one specific piece of information that I wanted to share with you.  Did you know that if you are going 75 in a 55 mile lane, the end result is you save about 3-5 min.  I always thought that by greatly exceeding the speed limit I would save anywhere between 30- 45 min. On the contrary the only thing I am saving is about 5 min. and wasting a lot more gas. now that I know that speeding really doesn't save me any time-I find it ridiculous.  The only thing that you could gain is an accident and well in my case a huge ticket. In the end those 5 minutes aren't worth $163.00. So lately me and the cruise control button have become best friends and well I am staying away from tickets and saving a little more gas:)  I hope this information is as beneficial to you as it was to me- until tomorrow
