Hey!!! I have been quite busy lately- so I am going to do a quick recap of the weekend and a glance at my week. Now that I've grabbed my hot carmel apple cider I can begin. First of all, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and if you have any funny or interesting stories I would love to hear them:) I got to work both Saturday and Sunday which is a plus, however, it proved to be a very long and tiring weekend. Saturday I didn't get lunch and Sunday my boss accidently forgot to come and get me when we had our "okay" to eat the left overs from the resteraunt:( However, I did get some food from the salad bar-healthy!!! I also finished reading the Kite Runner, and it was an amazing book! I literally fell in love with it:) Moving on to Monday: I really don't have much going on to be honest. I have a test on Friday and the PPST on Saturday and I just had a test today (I think I did fairly well...). Oh! The highlight of my week: My friend Shane has been really itching to ask my friend Carina out for the longest time and well tonight he did!! Congrats Shane and Carina-one would think with the overreaction that they got enaged..lol. That is a quick glance at everything:)
I am sadened to announce I didn't reach my goal of exercising everyday last week, however, I have started a more realistic routine this week. So far so good:) My new goal for the week is to not critize my body so much, but find the positives!
Now that we are caught up I still want to share the Tasty Tip of the day. I have just realized that one of my favorite meals to eat here in the cafeteria is spagehtii. So like I mentioned last week I need to know how healthy it is. Like most foods you can always make a healthy version and an unhealthy version, but for the most part Spagehtti isn't terrible for you. It most consists of protein and and carbs and just a little bit of fat. You can never have to much italian food..mmmmm:) In connection with Spagehtti my little brother asks Will and I at supper "So, you know in Lady and Trap how they eat spagehtti, and then they have one noodle, and they meet in the middle and kiss? Have you done that yet?!" Yeah, that was an awkward question, especially in front of my Grandpa :( But for all you curious people, we have not yet mastard the famous Italian Kiss. Nutrion Guide of Spagehtti
